TTTW: Green & Fruity

Green & Fruity

Apple, mango, papaya are the three leading ingredients in Green & Fruity. This tea is one of my all time favourites, as it’s a bold tea that needs no sweetener (the mango making up for the lack of sweetener). The fruits are strong enough that they fill the room with an exotic, warm, delicious smell, so it’s a lovely one to even have in the house. Not one I’d recommend to a non tea drinker though, as the green rooibos has a rather distinctly ‘tea’ taste to it.

Organic Simple the Zest

Mate tea is my preferred alternative to coffee. It’s highly caffeinated, and pumps you up to the same extent that a cup of coffe would. It’s also full of anti oxidants (even slightly more than green tea) so while you’re filling your system with caffeine to keep you going, you’re also doing your body a favour. So let me recommend this tea over coffee over these next couple months when we’re all cramming for projects, tests, exams, etc. Simply the Zest has a light, lemony smell and taste. It’s not too strong, but has a distinct lemon flavour that’s a great pick-me-up, and a wonderful way to keep you going into the late night.
